A freshman majoring in visual arts at Columbia University, Anton started painting at age 7 and has made it his passion ever since. Growing up in Houston, he began participating in local competitions such as the Rodeo School Art Program and just recently broke a school art auction record with his painting "Southern Palate". Anton has earned recognition as a Texas Young Master from the Texas Commission on the Arts and has won national awards, including a National Silver Medal in Painting for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Aside from creating art, Anton enjoys teaching art, organizing philanthropic activities and playing basketball. After traveling as a youth ambassador to Ecuador two years ago, he has made it his goal to advocate for the arts through community initiatives. Anton considers his style a synthesis of impressionism and contemporary fine art and hopes to become an established artist here in NYC.
